What To Expect In a Pregnancy Yoga Class

A typical class will begin with a centring exercise where we turn our attention inwards, release outside distractions and begin to focus on our breath.

We'll then start to add movement, warming the body up thoroughly before moving mindfully through some sequences that will build strength and ease out tension. All postures are given as an invitation and I encourage you to only do what feels good for you on the day.

I always finish my classes with a guided meditation giving you the opportunity to relax fully and take a moment to bond with your baby and appreciate all the hard work your body is doing.

“It was my first time attending a pregnancy yoga class or any type of yoga class. Sarah made the whole experience enjoyable, knowledgeable and relaxing.” - Michelle

Why Choose My Pregnancy Yoga Classes?

I’m Sarah, founder of Happy Mums Club, as a mum of 2 boys, (3 years and 11 months).

Pregnancy yoga is so much more than just ‘stretching’. The physical movements are designed to build and maintain strength as you prepare your body and mind for labour and birth, while also easing those pregnancy related aches and pains. You also get to take an hour all to yourself, giving you space and time to connect with your body and your baby. The relaxation techniques are great to use during labour, birth and beyond.
